Rangeford Villages’ Pet Ambassador, Dr Scott Miller, hosted a “Top to Tail” informative talk at Wadswick Green’s brand-new village hall for owners, reservists and their beloved four-legged friends.
Dr Scott, well known for his More4 show, Vet on the Hill, and for being resident vet on ITV’s This Morning, covered topics including how to look after your dog’s teeth, ears and paws, knowing your dog’s heart rate, grooming tips and general health advice such as flea and tick treatment in addition to knowing when it’s time to go to the vets. Dr Scott’s dog, Mango, was his very well-behaved model.
The event ended with a very insightful myth-busting session with questions provided from the audience. The event proved very popular and was another step towards Rangeford supporting not just their owners but their very important pets too.

Keith Turnball, Village Manager at Wadswick Green, comments: “Events like this are incredibly valuable because they combine expert advice with a real sense of community. Having Dr Scott share practical guidance on dog health, behaviour and wellbeing helps our owners feel more confident and informed as pet owners, while also creating an enjoyable social experience for both owners and their dogs. At Wadswick Green, we know pets play such an important role in our owners’ lives, so hosting educational events like this is a wonderful way to support that connection.”
In his role of Pet Ambassador, Dr Miller will continue leading village talks, offering guidance on wellbeing and pet-friendly living, participating in meet-and-greet events, and officially open bark parks at Rangeford Villages locations across the UK. His involvement will deepen owner connection, deliver educational experiences, and highlight the importance of pets and active living in later life. Dr Miller brings a wealth of experience, energy and warmth to the ambassador role and will work closely with village teams to enrich the day-to-day lives of owners.
