Cirencester, September 2026

Siddington Park will open its doors on Monday 19th October for a special charity day dedicated to wellbeing, support and living positively with and beyond cancer.

Free to attend and open to all, ‘Living Well With and Beyond Cancer’ runs from 10am to 4pm and is jointly hosted by Dr Dawn Harper, NHS GP and much-loved television broadcaster, and Jo Sutherland, Founder and CEO of the community cancer support charity Charlie’s.

Living Well With and Beyond Cancer — a free community day at Siddington Park on 19th October.

The day takes a holistic and positive approach, offering a warm and welcoming space for anyone affected by cancer, whether living with it, beyond it, or supporting someone who is. Dr Dawn Harper will open proceedings at 10am, before Jo Sutherland introduces the support, activities and treatments available throughout the day.

Guests will be able to try an array of wellbeing experiences, including art, chair yoga, meditation and a sound bath, alongside hand massage, Indian head massage and reflexology. There will also be private group sessions, guidance on coping with the trauma of diagnosis and treatment, advice on living with scar tissue, permanent make-up by Luisa Krayem, and a wig service, plus stalls from Charlie’s, Tropic Skincare and House of Colour. Complimentary light bites and refreshments will be served throughout, and special guest speakers will be announced on the day.

The event is held in aid of Charlie’s, which supports people across the community affected by cancer, and guests are warmly encouraged to make a donation on the day.

Dr Dawn Harper said: “A cancer diagnosis touches every part of life, and it doesn’t simply end when treatment does. Days like this matter because they give people the chance to feel supported, to try something new, and to be reminded that living well with and beyond cancer is absolutely possible. I can’t wait to be part of it — and everyone is welcome, whether you are living with cancer yourself or supporting someone you love.”

Jo Sutherland, Founder and CEO of Charlie’s, said: “At Charlie’s, we are here for anyone in our community affected by cancer, and this day is everything we believe in — warmth, connection and practical support, all in one welcoming place. We are hugely grateful to Siddington Park for opening their doors, and to Dr Dawn for hosting alongside me. Whether you come for a treatment, a talk, or simply a cup of tea and a chat, you will find a friendly face.”

Places are free but limited, and early booking is encouraged.
