After 17 wonderful years trading as Stuart Wilson Hairdressing, cousins, James and Clara are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter — the relaunch of their much-loved salon as James & Clara Hair: Luxury Hairdressing.
The name has changed. Everything else that clients love — the extraordinary skill, the warmth, the personal attention and the uncompromising commitment to beautiful hair — remains exactly the same.
“Same passion. Same team. Same commitment to you,” say James and Clara, who between them bring over 60 years of hairdressing expertise to every appointment. The couple first opened their own salon in Cirencester in 2009 and have been based at their stunning new home within Siddington Park since August 2023.
A destination, not just a salon:
James & Clara Hair is not your average trip to the hairdresser. Set within the beautiful grounds of Siddington Park just outside Cirencester, the salon offers clients something rather special — the chance to make a proper occasion of their visit.
With free parking right on the doorstep, clients can arrive unhurried and leave at their leisure. Before or after their appointment — or simply while colour is developing — guests are invited to step into The Orangery, Siddington Park’s acclaimed restaurant and bar. Whether it is a morning coffee in the stylish lounge, a leisurely lunch, a glass of something cold on the south-facing terrace on a sunny afternoon, a traditional homemade afternoon tea or a cocktail to toast a fresh new look, The Orangery turns a haircut into a day out.

Television presenter Anne Robinson — one of a small number of celebrity clients — is a devoted fan. She said: “James has been my hairdresser for 12 years. James and Clara each have over 30 years of professional hairdressing experience and a shared passion for making every client feel and look their very best. New clients are offered a free consultation before their first appointment, allowing James and Clara to fully understand individual requirements and work collaboratively to achieve the perfect result. For colour services, a patch test is required at least 48 hours before the appointment.
