Rangeford Villages Appoints Sara Mahmood as Registered Care Manager at Integrated Retirement Community, Homewood Grove, Chertsey.

Rangeford Villages has appointed Sara Mahmood to head up the registered care team at its contemporary retirement community, Homewood Grove in Chertsey, Surrey.

Rangeford recently celebrated the official opening of Homewood Grove, one of its newest developments for the over 60’s. The stunning new village features 116 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with exclusive onsite amenities and 24/7 support services.  The state-of-the-art amenities have been designed to encourage residents to lead an active lifestyle. Facilities include the Revive wellbeing centre (pool, steam room and sauna), gym, dance studio, cinema room, and a hair and beauty salon. Residents will also be able to make use of the on-site village shop, bar, lounge and the on-site Oak and Honey restaurant.

Sara brings with her a broad experience of working within the care industry, having previously worked as a registered Care Manager and has a passion for improving the lives of other people.

Sara originally began her career as a Care Assistant, before achieving her NVQ5 Registered Care Manager   qualification, working her way up to lead the care team.

Sara was attracted to the village lifestyle and facilities at Homewood Grove, where she hopes to focus her attention on enhancing the quality and care offering for owners at the village and help them to live a happy and purposeful life, by ensuring that that they feel listened to, supported and respected.

Speaking about her new role Sara says: “I am absolutely delighted to have joined the care team here at Homewood Grove.  I feel very fortunate to be in a position where I am able to have a really positive impact on the lives of others. because it’s a new village, there is lots of scope to really develop the role and care offering here.  

“I am really looking forward to getting to know and building relationships with the residents right from the start, and ensuring that they feel listened to, supported and respected.  My top priority is to ensure that we provide the highest quality of care for all our residents.”

Sara will lead a small and dedicated care team at Homewood Grove, whose purpose is to ensure that the village is vibrant, happy and thriving. Her role involves everything from coordinating the care team, liaising with GP’s and District Nurses, to designing personalised care plans and packages for each resident.
