Siddington Park celebrates two years of exceptional retirement living in the heart of The Cotswolds

Cirencester’s award-winning retirement village marks its second anniversary with 126 owners, two prestigious industry awards and a thriving community at its heart.

Siddington Park, Cirencester’s celebrated Rangeford Villages retirement community, is marking its second anniversary with a flourishing community of 126 owners, an award-winning restaurant and a wellbeing programme that has set a new standard for retirement living in the Cotswolds.

Since opening in 2023 with 27 apartments, Siddington Park has grown steadily and purposefully — reaching 50 owners in 2024 and 91 apartments occupied by the close of last year, with 126 owners calling it home today. The growth reflects not just demand for high quality retirement living but the strength of the community that has been built within its walls.

The Orangery restaurant — with its 68-cover dining room serving 700 to 800 covers each month — has become the social heart of the village. Signature dishes including the celebrated Orangery Lasagna and the Cheese Soufflé have become firm favourites, with Head Chef Danijel Furjan named as a finalist in the Housing with Care Chef of the Year awards this year. With 71 per cent of produce sourced from within 30 miles of the village, The Orangery’s commitment to local suppliers is woven into every menu.

That commitment to quality and community has been recognised at the highest level. At the 2025 Retirement Living Awards, Siddington Park took home two prestigious accolades — Best Lifestyle or Wellbeing Facility and Outstanding Integrated Retirement Community with Care Assistance — cementing its position as one of the finest retirement communities in the country.

A team of around 40 dedicated staff support owners across the village’s full range of services and activities, from the monthly owners’ events programme to private dining celebrations and a calendar of community fundraising. Recent highlights include owner Val’s fundraising event for Parkinson’s UK which raised £1,700, Macmillan Coffee Mornings, support for the Cirencester Rotary Club Golf Day and hosting the NFRSA charity dog show.

The second anniversary was marked with a celebration dinner attended by all 126 owners — a warm and joyful occasion that reflected the close-knit community Siddington Park has become in just two years.

Looking ahead, the summer programme promises more of what owners love — a Health & Wellbeing Festival on 29th and 30th June led by Dr Dawn Harper, a Terrace Takeover on 25th July with live music, BBQ and outdoor bar, and an Outdoor Film Weekend on 22nd August.
