Strictly Sparkle Comes to Wadswick Green with Flavia Cacace Dance Event

Owners and guests gathered at Rangeford Villages Wadswick Green on Thursday afternoon for a special dance-inspired event featuring former Strictly Come Dancing professional and champion dancer Flavia Cacace.

Held in the village’s new hall, the exclusive event welcomed around 50 guests, including enthusiastic ballroom dancers from fellow Rangeford community Siddington Park, for an engaging afternoon celebrating movement, music and wellbeing in later life.

The event, titled “Afternoon with Strictly Star Flavia Cacace”, included a dance class led by Flavia, followed by a Q&A session and meet-and-greet where guests had the opportunity to hear stories from her celebrated dance career and learn more about the joy and benefits of dancing.

The afternoon highlighted the importance of staying active in later life, with dancing widely recognised as a fun and social way to support physical fitness, balance, coordination and mental wellbeing. Regular dancing can also help improve confidence, reduce loneliness and encourage meaningful social connection, all key factors in healthy ageing.
