Siddington Park Village Celebrates Topping Off Ceremony

Siddington Park the modern lifestyle village for the over 60s, on the outskirts of Cirencester, by award winning integrated retirement community specialist Rangeford Villages, hosted a topping off ceremony on 30th March in the presence of Councillor Patrick Coleman, to mark the latest phase in the village’s construction – the completion of the last Grange apartment buildings’ roof.

Construction on the c.£50m village commenced in March 2020 and is scheduled for final completion in autumn/winter 2022. The village offers a selection of one, two and three bed spacious apartments, ranging from 642 to 1,798 sq. ft, as well as an array of onsite amenities including The Pavilion bistro and bar, wellbeing spa, pool, gym, yoga and dance studio, owners lounge and cinema.

Howard Nankivell, Chief Executive Officer of Rangeford Villages commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be celebrating this construction delivery milestone. The development is coming on fantastically including the completion of three apartment buildings forming a wonderful frontage to the village and hosting our showhome complex. We are looking forward to unveiling the remainder of the village later this year.

We have already had lots of interests from prospective buyers, as the continually strong demand for high quality, eco-friendly solutions for the over 60s continues, with 14% already reserved.”
Paul Nicholls, Chief Executive of Real, the main contractor, said: “We’re extremely pleased to be progressing to the next phase of the development at Siddington Park.

Delivering high-quality and well-designed new homes is what Real is all about and seeing the construction of this village take shape has been rewarding for all of us at Real, knowing that we are creating a haven for all of those that will live here.”

Siddington Park builds on the established partnership between award-winning Rangeford Villages and Octopus Real Estate, which has led to the development of modern later living villages Wadswick Green in Wiltshire, Mickle Hill in North Yorkshire and construction commenced at its latest lifestyle focussed community Homewood Grove near Chertsey, Surrey. Octopus Real Estate is a part of the Octopus Group and is a leading investor in healthcare facilities across the UK and Ireland. Rangeford Villages is a dedicated developer and operator of contemporary villages exclusively for the over 60s. Siddington Park will be managed and operated by Rangeford Villages.

Situated on a former 12-acre parkland site, the grounds feature exceptional landscaped gardens, outdoor seating areas and pathways with intelligent night-time lighting, a boule court and raised beds and allotments for resident use. In addition, many homes will have the luxury of their own private outdoor space – either a garden patio or balcony.
The pet friendly village will provide endless walking routes, both on and off the development with the historic town centre of Cirencester under 2 miles away.

Additional support includes concierge and housekeeping teams who can help with anything from replacing a light bulb, paying bills, to arranging appointments and transportation. For those who need it, Rangeford Villages’ Domiciliary Care team will also provide care and support, with tailored packages, plus there is 24/7 support available for extra peace of mind.

Siddington Park apartments start at £299,950, with a selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments still available. To make an appointment to view the showhomes or enquiry further, please call the friendly team on 01225 897570
