Wadswick Green is Now Sold Out

Wadswick Green, the modern and popular later living village developed by Rangeford Villages for the over 60s in Corsham, Wiltshire, has now sold out all of its apartments. The village has rejuvenated what was a derelict site which, coupled with its boost to local employment, has ensured that the development has become a positive addition to the local community in Corsham.

Set over 25 acres in the rolling Wiltshire countryside, on the site of the former HMS Royal Arthur Naval College that Prince Philip attended, Wadswick Green is now a modern village with ancient roots.

The 200-apartment development was split into five phases, with the first 112 units completed in 2015. The second phase was finished in November 2018, with further homes added in 2019.

Amanda Valentine-Bunce, Head of Marketing for Rangeford Villages, said: “We are really pleased to have now welcomed homeowners to all 200 apartments at Wadswick Green.

“The major success of the sales of all apartments reflects the high demand for luxury senior living homes.

“Wadswick Green, is about community and crucially, the overall design and landscaping have been engineered to promote interaction between people. Each property has been well-designed with accessibility in mind, offering a marvellous open plan dual aspect lounge, kitchen, dining and living area.

“We are very excited to make the owners feel right at home, and we want our owners to thrive and enjoy their golden years to the fullest at Wadswick Green.”

Key to the sales success was the function, style and quality of the apartments. Key features considered when designing the properties to help with the future proofing of the homes, included moveable island kitchen units, integrated kitchen appliances and floor level walk-in showers. To reinforce the sense of independence, apartments have their own private entrances and addresses.

The hotel- style services have also been popular with buyers. At Wadswick Green, owners can take advantage of an extensive range of state-of-the-art amenities such as a fully-equipped gym and spa which includes a swimming pool, sauna, and steam room; a beauty salon, restaurant serving locally produced seasonal dishes, as well as a beautifully tended gardens in which lie a croquet lawn and boules pitch, and the new Village Hall which is a fantastic new facility for owners, friends and families to enjoy. The development’s award-winning Greenhouse Restaurant has also become popular with village owners and locals alike.

For buyers wishing to acquire a property at Wadswick Green, there will be more apartments available as the village continues to mature. Moreover, in July, Wadswick Green announced plans to expand the existing retirement community’s site with an additional phase of brand-new properties, Walnut Lane.
