Dr Dawn Recommends: The Barn Theatre

I usually do my “Dr. Dawn Recommends” at the beginning of each month, but this is such a great offer and is time sensitive, so I wanted to share it with you today.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be invited to the press night of “Ottilie” at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester this week. The show is a one-woman performance based on the story of “Ottilie”, dubbed the godmother of British Blues. Ottilie is performed by Jolene O’Hara who holds the audience with jaw dropping talent. Her voice is just amazing, and the story is at times funny, at times poignant and always intriguing.

And here’s the best bit, The Barn Theatre is offering tickets for just £20 (with a booking fee of £2 on top) with code DRDAWN20 between March 31st and April 5th.

To find out more about the theatre and this show visit www.barntheatre.org.uk. And if you are travelling from away, there is a lovely hotel literally next door www.inglesidehouse.co.uk
