June Isolation Round Up

A roundup of what the village team have been organising to keep the owners engaged during June.

As Lockdown remained in place throughout June, spirits were kept high at Wadswick Green, the nation could see the end of lockdown over the horizon as restrictions began to be eased.

Wadswick Green Marketing Suite

We opened the Marketing Suite and Showhomes for pre-arranged appointments and the first post-shutdown reservations were secured, as well as being able to get ready to welcome new owners moving-in from early July!

Our Chauffeur services re-commenced, keeping to a one household per trip rule.

Wadswick Green Residents were encouraged to complete Mental Fitness Exercises and attendance grew to the range of physical exercise classes on the village green: Qigong, Aerobics and Zumba.

With the gardens blooming and being enjoyed by all of the owners on their daily exercise routines, we followed suit and captured the beautiful grounds by having lots of video footage taken – watch out for the various film releases!

Wadswick Green Gardens

We started using produce from our vegetable cottage garden in our owners’ takeaway dishes, as well as our village shop selling freshly picked vegetables and lettuces. Our Greenhouse Restaurant also opened the Takeaway service to the general public with a drive-thru service.

Talking of produce – 10,000 more bees joined us and we finally had some Honey harvested that went down really well in our village shop!

As restrictions relaxed we saw more of our owners meeting up for coffee around the especially set up, social distancing, sitting areas and thanks to the fantastic weather owners and their families were able to use the gazebo to enjoy their visits, giving the ability to not enter apartments or communal area, keeping everyone safe.

To round up June we had a postive message from Rangeford Villages CEO, Howard Nankivell:

“Many thanks again to all the Rangeford team members, our owners and their families for being so positive, cheerful and supportive of one another over the last three months and importantly in the months to come. We do still need to be vigilant and stay alert.”
