Rangeford Villages Begins Management of Mickle Hill

Rangeford Villages has taken sole management of later living village Mickle Hill in Pickering, North Yorkshire, which it developed in partnership with national older person’s charity Methodist Homes (MHA).

Rangeford is delighted to take over the management of the village and is committed to ensure a continuity of management for both owners and the team on site. All staff, including Village Manager Gillian Green, are being retained, with a number of new job opportunities at the village also announced to cater to the increasing number of owners.

Howard Nankivell, CEO of Rangeford Villages, says: “This is a truly exciting and logical move for Rangeford Villages to take over the sole management of Mickle Hill having co-worked on the development since 2016 and our group going through a period of expansion.”
Rangeford Villages has extensive experience of both developing and operating villages and communities for people aged 60 plus throughout the UK, with other developments in its portfolio including award-winning Wadswick Green in Corsham, Siddington Park in Cirencester and the recently launched Homewood Grove in Chertsey.

Nankivell adds: “MHA’s exceptional senior management team and our own have managed the transfer process with the best levels of communication and openness possible to minimise any disruption to the smooth operating of the village.

“We put our owners at the heart of everything we do: our model enables owners to nurture their own lifestyle choices and ensure they do not just exist but thrive in later life. We look forward to bringing our expertise to the village and are excited about our group’s expansion.”

Mickle Hill retirement village in Pickering, North Yorkshire, offers retirees a supportive community environment to enable independent living with additional in-house care services available, if required.
