Rangeford Villages Sponsors Charity Wing-Walk to mark the launch of it’s New ‘Retirement Reinvented’ Campaign

Leading luxury retirement village brand is ‘reinventing retirement’ for its owners by investing in celebrating individuals’ lives, achievements and passions with personalised experiences to create new memories and boost wellbeing.  The first phase of this new campaign is being launched in Rangeford’s Siddington Park village in Cirencester.

Rangeford Villages is well-known for its many award-winning innovations in later-life-living, with the wellness and wellbeing of each and every resident at the core of everything they do.  Their new ‘Retirement Reinvented’ campaign raises the bar even higher, further underpinning the brand’s absolute dedication to focusing its investment strategy on providing the UK’s best retirement communities.

On Tuesday 28th May, Siddington Park resident, 77-year-old retired nurse, Josie Howley, will be taking to the skies standing on top of a classic 1940’s Boeing Stearman bi-plane, flying from RFC Rendcomb Airfield, home to the world’s only aerobatic wing-walking team, Aerosuperbatics.   Aerosuperbatics’ lead display pilot, David Barrell, will be taking Josie up to 800 ft and travelling at 140 mph.

Josie’s wing-walk is in aid of Meningitis Now, based in Stroud, where her daughter works.  The flight is being sponsored by Rangeford Villages so that all funds raised go straight to the charity, and the company has generously also donated to Josie’s JustGiving Fundraising Page:  https://www.justgiving.com/page/josephine-howley-1711363670114.   Josie is aiming to raise £2,500 for the charity and has already achieved nearly 40% of her target.
