A Celebration of Community at Strawberry Fields Summer Fair

More than 250 people came together on Saturday 11th July for a fantastic afternoon of community celebration at the Strawberry Fields Summer Fair, hosted by Rangeford Villages in association with the Royal British Legion.

The event welcomed owners, families, friends and members of the local community to Strawberry Fields, where visitors enjoyed a relaxed summer afternoon filled with entertainment, refreshments, local business stalls and activities for all ages.

The Summer Fair highlighted Strawberry Fields’ commitment to creating vibrant community connections while supporting the invaluable work of the Royal British Legion. Throughout the afternoon, attendees had the opportunity to browse a variety of local stalls, experience a traditional Drumhead service, catch up with neighbours and friends, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that has become synonymous with the village.

The event proved to be a tremendous success, with a high volume of visitors attending and helping to create a lively and memorable occasion.

Amanda Valentine, Head of Marketing at Rangeford Villages said: “We are delighted with the success of this year’s Summer Fair and would like to thank everyone who came along to support the event. Seeing so many people enjoying the day together was fantastic and reflects the wonderful community spirit that exists both within Strawberry Fields and the surrounding area.

We are especially grateful to the Royal British Legion for partnering with us, as well as all of the local businesses, volunteers, entertainers and stallholders who helped make the event such a success. It was a pleasure to welcome so many familiar and new faces, and we look forward to hosting more community events in the future.”

Strawberry Fields extends its thanks to everyone who attended, contributed and supported the Summer Fair, making it a memorable day that celebrated community, friendship and a shared commitment to supporting an important charitable cause.
